How to Remove an Image Background
The Background Remover has two modes. Quick mode finds the background color around the edges of your picture and makes it transparent. It is instant and ideal for product photos on white or single-color backgrounds. You can click the image to choose a different color and adjust tolerance and edge softness.
AI mode uses an open-source segmentation model that runs inside your browser, so it can cut out people and objects from busy backgrounds. The model downloads the first time you use it.
Tips for Better Results
Use even lighting and a plain background when you can. If edges look rough, raise edge cleanup by one step. Download as PNG to keep the transparency.
